About Us

Our Approach
At drp Acupuncture, care is guided by the belief that health is supported through balance within the body’s natural regulatory systems. Grounded in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element principles, health is understood as a dynamic interplay between physical, emotional, and energetic factors.
Each treatment is delivered with care and precision, focusing on underlying patterns rather than symptoms alone. Treatments are thoughtfully tailored to support the body’s innate capacity to restore and maintain balance, with the understanding that meaningful change develops through consistent, attentive care over time.
Traditional principles are respected while being carefully integrated into modern life, ensuring treatments remain both relevant and deeply rooted. Ongoing learning, reflection, and professional development support high standards of ethical, safe, and responsive practice.
Above all, the intention is to offer a calm, supportive space where patients feel listened to, respected, and empowered in their ongoing journey towards balance, wellbeing, and long-term health.
Founder
Drp Acupuncture was founded by Dongrim Park, a fully qualified acupuncturist who graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM). Dongrim also practises within the CICM practitioner clinic, maintaining close links with both academic study and clinical training.
Trained in Integrated Chinese Medicine, her approach brings together Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element acupuncture to provide thoughtful, individualised care that supports both physical and emotional wellbeing.
Dongrim has a particular interest in women’s health and gynaecology, supporting concerns such as hormonal balance, pain, stress, and fertility-related issues. She also offers Facial Enhancement Acupuncture, having completed specialist training with Paul Adkins, founder of Cosmetic Acupuncture UK, alongside Tuning Fork Therapy to support nervous system regulation and deep relaxation.
Her work is guided by a warm, compassionate approach, with care taken to create a calm and supportive space where patients feel listened to and at ease.
Dongrim is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS), and practises in line with recognised professional standards.
